I want to know if this is a good combination for a beginner in on-road electric. keep in mind i want to race club and TCS. Also i am in Australia.
Here it goes:
Tamiya TT-01 $195, TT-01R $210, M-03 $195
Hitec aggressor AM 2 channel radio $99
Stock tamiya motor (comes with kit)
Integy 7.2V 3300 $69
A few hop-ups
and that is about it.

But what I was wondering is which one is easier to get parts (bodies, tyres etc) and the easiest to drive

You need to get along to your local club and see what cars and classes are being raced there. No good buying a Mini fro example if you can't get into a race with it. Honestly you might be better off looking at a TA05. You'll probably get better info if you post on the Australian Racers thread

I personally would go for the TA-04 (Similar to the one I’m getting) I work in a hobby shop in central Queensland so parts aren’t a problem for me, we can get all Tamiya parts if there in stock from our suppliers.
the TA-04 components are easily assessable and good to work with.

TT-01 is ok, but only for tamiya SPEC class. I like the TB-02 or TB-02R myself.

As I posted in your thread in the Australian forum (is there really any need to post two threads on the same topic?), a second hand TA04 or TA05S will be better for racing. I have seen novice racers in 540 novice with those two chassises absolutely thump the TT01 racers, even when the gearing is to the TT01 advantage.

Plus the TT01 is out of its league beyond 540 novice. Trust me on the TA0x cars.

Your best bet would be to get a used car like an Mi2, TC3, Xray FK05 etc. You would get a smokin' good deal, the car would be super competative and you could get parts everywhere.

I would beware with the Integy cells. I don't know if you are aware, but Integy matches their cells at 20 amps. That is why you are seeing 600 seconds on GP3300 packs. I'm not trying to discourage you from buying Integy, but buyer beware- they aren't as good as you might be thinking.

I race in the TCS in at the US Hqtrs test track. I've driven the TB01 in tcs races. Its very similar to the tt01. This should be an excellent beginners cars. After you have become more proficient move up to what ever you like. TBo2, TAO5, 414mx!! The TTO1 comes in the TTo1R version with most of the hops ups, this should do you for a while.

I know you indicated that a TA-05 was not a choice, but I just want to put in a good word for it one more time. You can probably get it on a screaming deal from an Asian mail order shop and it is the most modern design Tamiya has. It has gotten rave reviews and at a local track I saw someone racing it in the 19T class and it was keeping up with the really expensive cars quite well.

I got one for a friend last time I was in Tokyo. At RC Champs, it was the equivalent of US$95.
