Cool, also awesome they named it after the Yokomo R12, lol. All jokes aside, I am sure it will be a quality bit of kit. I hope they had read through all the other TC threads and Social Media pages to provide something perhaps the majority is looking for / towards. Good for them.

Is it just me? When I saw R12, I immediately thought it was a 1/12 scale car.

The normal for ARC has been to release new kits Oct/Nov every year since the 2013 R10 TC and the previous R11 chassis kits... ARC has been working to make an already great chassis better, which is the reason for the delay on the new 2020 platform.

I think a top deck system similar to the new awesomatix where it's split front and rear might be a good move

Default ALL NEW R12 DIFFERENTIAL

Another update everyone!!!

ALL NEW R12 DIFFERENTIAL: With the new R12, ARC has a complete new diff design. Designed to be more narrow, lighter and the pulleys will be more centralized than the previous drivetrain. The pulleys will remain 38 tooth.

I know that there's not too much longer to wait, but, with a new narrow diff and the rumoured longer arms, are the bulkheads going to be narrowed as well? (as in closer together?)

I have only just started running my 19-mid car so probably not ready to update just yet.

I have no knowledge of the R12, but I'm betting they narrowed the diff so they can move the bulkheads closer together. Similar to what XRAY did, but ARC is doing it in a more correct manner.

To answer your questions: The longer arms (wishbones) are confirmed and no longer a rumor. ARC has been considering revising “updating” the diff for sometime now, what better time with an all new platform. Regarding the bulkheads being positioned closer together. All I can share at the moment is this has been tested. Stay tuned and hope your enjoying your 19 mid motor.
