I have seen Adachi 's car in Thailand. He use a molded sp chassis with molded top desk. The only SSG parts on his car that I have seen was shock towers. May be he just like it that way because that was the combination that he run at JMRCA.

HAHA i don't have enough money for the YOkomo SD, but enough for the SP2! Does anyone know a site or online hobby store that supplies and sells the SpE. 2 for cheap around 269.99? Because all i've seen is 279.99-299.99! Speedtech and stormer hobbies i already looked at.

www.speedworldraceway.com is selling the SP V. 2 for $239.99, they are also having a 40% off closeout sale on all their Yokomo parts. I believe they also had a Hara "worlds" version MR4TC for $129.99

I believe www.speedworldraceway.com is also discounting the ssg conversions. Give them a call or e-mail Billy and [email protected]

What is a good amount of droop to start with on a MR4-tc sp? I am racing on medium traction asphalt. All of the setup sheets specify an overall shock lenght but I would like to know how much droop that results in. I'm measuring droop with my height guage. I set the ride height then raise the car onto the droop guage one step at a time until the tires come off the ground/table. Then subtract the two heights to get the droop.

When I have my MR4TC SP I ran my HellFire rollout at 27.50mm for a mid sized track with some sharp turns and 1 long straight. This is an indoor asphalt track. If your track is bigger I would try going a little higher depending on how your motor works on the track.

Default anyone looking for a Yok Special?

I have a Yok Special (upgraded from pro kit....so lots of spares too) for sale which includes ALOT of spares and 2 extra chassis. Never run since upgrade kit was added. ....very clean. Can get more pics, but see pics on rctech.com from Macky sale (recently bought from him).
let me know if anyone from here is interested. $175 shipped for roller, nice airbrushed body and matched pack.

wow, all the hype about the SD has left this thread out to dry. I rescued this thread from page 3.

Anyway, I got a few tuning questions. How do the 3 degree caster blocks affect handling as opposed to the standard 5 degree blocks? Also, how does the ball stud camber mod in the front affect handling as apposed to the stock caster block mounting?
