Good to hear b/c I plan on running in the 13.5 class soon with you guys. (once I learn to stop crashing lol) Sorry for going off topic.

13.5 has been awesome so far. Really close racing and makes you learn to drive the car. Mistakes are very costly, more so than 17.5.

On a bumpy, outdoor track I think it will. If you are running carpet I would try it but it likely wont be as beneficial as bumpy dirt tracks.

Default Diff oil

10k front and 10k rear diff oil seems to be what most are running. Has anyone tried a different combo like 7k front/ 5k rear or any other combo and noticed a difference in handling? I run 7k/5k in my dex410 durango and it basically drives itself, no super skills required.

I've been running 7-100-5 and just changed to 7-200-7. Hitting the track tomorrow and looking forward to seeing how it feels now. I thought it was pretty good before, but the rear may have been a touch too loose. Med/high indoor clay, and nothing too tight on track layout right now.

7-100-5 here as well, but I built it with that so I have nothing to compare it to.

How does it handle with that setup? Are you running on clay? Carpet?

Hard clay, damp, med-high to high grip. Handles very well. Might be a little edgy for some, I like a lot of steering.

Also anyone try the schelle +1 akerman plates? I bought them partially for the bling factor but wondering if anyone has any feedback on them yet? I have yet to remove them from their packaging.

I ran 10-200-10 and it felt good, then changed to 7-200-3k and car was better. Better rotation and just faster lap times. Car wasn't loose at all. This was on medium bite clay outdoor track with dust

So finally got to run the car last night @ DRP. All I can say is the setup from AE Stig was pretty darn close. Really close.
Initially it was really "darty". Of course it had brand new tires on it. Played with expo on my radio to calm it down a bit. That helped huge.
Then went to from 2° to 1° toe out, then went from purple springs to orange springs up front. That made it just about perfect for me. Got into the 14 sec lap times. Definitely turned some heads.

As for durability, besides the occasional flip/traction roll, I sent it for some nice rag-doll cart wheels (unintentionally of course). It's solid.

Totally satisfied.

Got about 10 packs through it. I think I'm going a little more aggressive with the motor, probably a 10.5.

Here was the setup.
Worn ozite carpet, I pretty much emulated AE Stigs recommendations:

slipper 81/26 13.5T
Slipper dogbone set (where only the rear dogbone is different)
2 orings in front slipper outdrive, 3 in slipper rear outdrive
purple springs up front, 1.6 x 2 with 37.5 wt (switched to orange, helped calm down turn entry)
gray spring in the rear 1.7 x 2 with 30 wt
15mm ride height
7° caster blocks
5mm front hexes
AE aluminum steering rack
camber links inside on shock tower, 2nd hole up from bottom front an rear
yellow swaybar up front
orange (front swaybar) in the rear
2° camber all the way around
about 2° of toe out, (switched to 1° to calm down steering)
Schumacher cut staggers yellow up front
JConcepts Pin Downs in the rear

10/200/7 here for indoor clay and its been awesome. I started with 10 frt and rear and on the tighter layout with a lot of 180 corners it didn't quite rotate like I liked so dropping down to 7 in the rear really seemed to help.

Has anyone got any advice for running this car on outdoor dirt, not clay? Similar to what Motorama was like this year. I have been looking for some setups from Alex K. or Chad Due, or Brent Thielke since they were all there racing but no luck. I will be racing 1/10 outdoors all summer instead of 1/8 so I'm looking for anything for this car, and for my B6D and SC5M.
