There’s nothing to really upgrade for ease the VRP rear suspension block that makes it easier to get to the diff which I may get . And the whole two diffrent Rear shock towers for more grip .

Exclamation HB Racing E817 V2 1/8 4WD Electric Off-Road Buggy Kit

The E817 V2 1/8 Racing Buggy Kit!

https://www.amainhobbies.com/hb-raci...204271/p735075

Get ready, the E817 V2 1/8 scale 4WD electric buggy is coming soon from HB Racing. The “Version 2” of the E817 buggy is topped with a clear JConcepts Silencer buggy body and an updated molded nylon rear wing that is lightweight and more durable than polycarbonate wings. A narrow rear shock tower with revised shock length has been added for expanded range of shock adjustment. Updated machined aluminum 17.5° front caster blocks have been updated for extra strength. Updated aluminum steering linkage spacers replace the plastic spacers for improved bumpsteer geometry, more precise adjustment, less flex, and we revised the screw lengths to accommodate the updated spacers. Other updates include universal drive shafts, increased clearance ball end links, and updated body mounts.

Updated Features:

...very minor updates to an already awesome ebuggy

I was hoping for the extended and updated chassis similar to the Nitro version. I wonder why they use the shorter chassis? The longer chassis made the nitro version planted. The E817 rear end is pretty loose and takes a good setup to get it planted. I would think the longer chassis would help things.

Have you tried the short carbon rear tower with the trusty front shock bodies? It’s supposed to plant the rear end.

This is true. I just changed to it on mine and now I need to make a slight adjustment to take rear grip out.

Damn it, I have an E817 and E817T in my garage that I just received from Absolute Hobbyz. Good thing it isn’t much of a difference.

Forgot to mention slightly longer hardware is used to 'store' all the bumpsteer washers (4 of them) and 'reset' the bumpster adjustment when changing between the 15deg, 17.5deg and 20deg caster blocks:
15deg caster - use 0mm bumpsteer washers on top, store all 4 washers on the underside of the ackermann plate
17.5deg caster - use 2mm bumpsteer washers on top, store the remaining 2 washers on the underside of the ackermann plate
20deg caster - use all 4mm bumpsteer washers on top

                                Hello TRiN,

I would say it depends on the Kick-up setting as well..

Also if You change the B-Plate the bump steer need to be adjusted as well..

                                Cheers..
