HB Racing E817 1/8 eBuggy.
Not a lot of info around yet for the E817. Here are a few pics I have found on the net. It looks good and Ronnefalk just used it to win the E-Buggy Euros.

Finally!!! :D
 |
So I had a chance to absorb and go over the specs, various pics over on neobuggy (no internal/off body shots yet) following Ronnefalks win at the E-Buggy Euros:-
Overall a well though-out design, no stones left unturned:- - Orange front center brace - I guessing chassis flex was an issue on higher grip tracks - Short rear carbon tower - First appeared on Ronnefalk's D815v2, these are similar/same geometry to the D8 112mm shock tower using the D8TTE front shock body/ or 112mm shock body from the D8. Ronnefalk notes a 'more easy and flat in high speed corners'. In other words more suited for Euro type tracks with long, flowing corners. - Battery brace - inspired by 10th scale? Quicker access/swapping of batteries? Better compatibility with various battery lipo lengths? - Universals (compared to CVDs) - Some preferred these over CVDs for less maintenance. UNIs are also bit better in the bumpy conditions but loses some forward bite compared to CVDs - D815 style drivetrain (center F/R dog bone + 10T input gear) with old style D812/D8TTE 43/10 gear ratios. D815 uses a 13T input gear. I believe this will now carry over with the D8TTE update! - Rear hubs that's compatible with CVD and Uni's - back to 8x16 inner bearings? - Pro-Line Predator body included - Awesome that nitro bodies can still be used as specific ebuggy bodies can be hard to come by - I could be wrong, but the E817 does not appear to use the extended +4mm chassis. I also noticed the lack of rear chassis guard/plate. - Ronnefalk is using the wing from the Kyosho MP9 Tki3. What will the kit come with? More pics over at Neobuggy (scroll about half-way down the page):- http://gallery.neobuggy.net/2016-Rac.../Day-3-Sunday/ https://photos.smugmug.com/2016-Race...2048%29-X2.jpg https://photos.smugmug.com/2016-Race...2048%29-X2.jpg https://photos.smugmug.com/2016-Race...2048%29-X2.jpg https://photos.smugmug.com/2016-Race...2048%29-X2.jpg |

It's supposed to be out next month. I'm assuming you'll be back to edit your post once proven wrong?
Oct is not that far away, my guess there would be an official press release post-IFMAR 1/8 Worlds following podium finishes by the HB Racing team...:D:cool::smile: :batman: |

The final product will have a modern motor mount with a separate support for the opposite end of the motor as well. |
