What would make the car bounce all over the place at the very end of the long straights ?
Basically the car is fine everywhere but at the last week end's race at the end of the straight the car would start bouncing violently until it fliped over. No drag brake was used.
The only way to keep it on it's 4 wheels was to gently ease off the throttle at the end and coast quite a while before using the brake for the first turn.
Any ideas ?

Guys, EB48.3 will be here Thursday or Friday. I was gonna run a Pro4 4600KV on a 100C 2S HV pack temporarily.
But I've decided to go ahead and grab my motor.
I would like a 6S high efficiency setup.
T8i 1350KV, 17t pinion, and a 2500MAH 6S battery. The T8i is a 2 wye wind motor, I know they respond to timming very well
Plus the 2500MAH 6S will give me about 15-18 minute runtime with around a 145MAH per minute draw.
And it will run very cool. And the T8i is veryyy smooth.
Any suggestions?
I was going to run the 1wye 2700KV T8i on a 4S setup. But this does generate alot more heat, and power draw. It would be a ripper though.
Anyone run 1350kv on 6s?

I was thinking how to save weight. The T8i is a little lighter, and I hear smoother. Also would use (2) Turnigy 70C 2200MAH packs. They weighed 6.7 ounces each! 13.4 ounces combined. That's light!!
My cousin is running (2) 3S 5600MAH packs. But they weight over 2 pounds combined.
What's the best packs to run, with good run time but I guess around 1 lbs together.

I just sold my SCT410.3 roller. I've got one of these EB48.3 kits on the way.
I considered the SL. But the EB48.3 was hard to beat brand new on tower for $479.99
I'm going to run my RX8 Gen2 in it, with a Tekin Pro4 4600KV on 2S until I get my 1/8 buggy motor and 4S packs.
You guys think the Pro4 on 2S will move the EB48.3 around OK? It was a lightning bolt in the SCT.3 truck with a 17T pinion lol.
Also, do these EB48.3 kits include the cnc shock pack and the cnc conical pistons stock in the box?
Or do I need to pick some more up.

I know that tekin is the best but id like to hear from you guys that run trackstar and smc and get your take on why you didnt justify the extra 150 for tekin because thats what im battling with right now.
I know people have said the tekin cs is great and thats one thing i take into consideration. have you guys had motors ever fail and then just trade them in? id imagine this is out of the question for trackstar. which might justify the extra money

I got my car up and running and it feels great for out of the box, but it feels like the shock oils could be better. Is there a good place for setups for this car besides tekno rc and petit rc? I run on medium sized indoor clay tracks like ocrc, but haven't found many set ups for the full sized car (EB48.3) only for the super lite, and since the car is so much heavier than the SL I wouldn't think the setups would transfer over.

Hey I don't know if you are on a budget or not but I know I am and I have to watch every dollar I spend if you have not bought the Rx8 gen 2. I have a esc suggestion that I just love!!!! It is a skyrc toro ts150a!!! I love this thing and I run it with a 2350kv toro motor, on 4S and it is blazing fast and very smooth! I just ran the Roar Region 4 race all weekend and it worked beautifully!!! You can get the esc on ebay all day for about $90 but it ships from Hong Kong. But there is a an American distributor Caster usa. Also after doing some research I believe that skyrc is also G Force. I also skyrc esc for my 10th scales also. Just want to help someone save some money.
I love my RX8 Gen2, it is one smart piece of equipment, I have Hotwire 2.0 and I can fine tune, and check data logging with my phone. And , it plugs in to the fan port. So, I don't have to disconnect the esc. It is truly great. The TORO beast is nice, and HW, and Toro all make great ESC's.
I use tower hobbies I paid $168 for my RX8 Gen 2 with a coupon. It can run 220 amps per phase, and a friend of mine is running 7S on his RX8 it handles the 29+ volts without a problem. There are alot of less expensive options out there. I guess the main reason why I chose a RX8 Gen 2 was for the support.
Also, if it is to expensive. You can grab one on Easy pay from Tower hobbies. With a coupon you can get it for $56, and the next month $56, and a final payment of $56. I did not buy mine on easy pay, but I do get kits on easy pay all the time especially when they range in price from $500 to 750. It's a great option.
I am interested in getting the Toro 120a it looks phenomenal! Reedy 410R with BT 4.0 for half $80 bucks! I will use it in a onroad.
I've been using towerhobbie since I was 9 years old. I'm 26 now. They are just great.
