what position are you guys running the battery in?it seems there is about 10-15 mm that the battery can be used in either direction.im struggling to get a planted feel with this buggy so far.ive tried the box setup and joes snats..it never feels like it has really good grip.ive tried several tires and only get marginal improvement.

tini coated shock shafts
Are the tini. Coated shock shafts stronger then the none coated ones? Is it the same steel shaft with a coating?

I will tell you that it's a good idea to keep a spare set of shock shafts on hand. I've bent 1 front shaft between my EB and NB this summer and it was on a horrific crash.

Finally got the buggy built and on the track this weekend. I used the wicked weekend nb setup and was very impressed with the car, it was extremely stable through every section of the track. I changed to a JC hybrid wing which seemed to give it good rotation in tight turns. The only thing the car seemed to lack was forward bite. I will be looking at wheelbase and diff adjustments next time out

Turn on power?
Got my car to turn nice in off power tight turns, but pushes bad on wide turn. Anyone have any suggestions how I can get it around wide turns without compromising it's tight turns and jump ability?

OR just put Joe's Southern Nats setup on your car with some Blue Reflexs or Blue Triple Dees on your car and be dialed

We really can't give suggestions without knowing the entire setup, track surface, tires, etc. Best thing I can tell you is show us a quick vid of the track and link your setup. Then we can offer advice.

We went back to the box set up, and did a little tweaking from there, and it's much better for us "old guys".

Front arm shock mount is A.
2mm rear wheel offset.
Front shock 32.5 AE
Rear shock 37.5 AE
Diff 7,10,3 AE
Track is outside smedium dusty hard packed clay, sometimes wet. I guess about medium grip.
I tried calibers, subcultures, hole shots, crime fighters, sweeps, all about half worn.
I did notice the servo saver could be made tighter. That might help. I'll try that next time I race.
Anyone have any ideas what I need to change to get this car around wide turns? It pushes when turning on power.
