Does anyone have a steering link length I can use as a starting point when using the new ackerman plate, I already cut them down, I just would like to have somewhere to start around 0 degree toe

I'll agree to a point as some do it more than others. Its was probably the one reason i went away from the Tekno SCT410 as I couldn't solve the issue sufficient to my driving style versus the competition. One jump where I would go nose down over and kill my time the Losi driver could just hit it full speed and go. My next car didn't have this issue.
The SCT410.3 however does feel much better in this regards and I am looking forward to seeing if the "jump of doom" is now a distant memory this year.

I bought a set of associated 50mm steering links. I am also using the new ackerman and steering components. I'm not sure if that's what you're asking or not.

I'm looking for the assembled length of the steering links from the Ackerman to the hub. The length can be measured on the inside between the plastic rod ends like they do in the manual. I was hoping someone had the measurement so I have a good starting point without the guesswork. Thanks

I'm wondering if the next sct410 will be more related to the eb410 than the eb48. As it stands now the eb48 and sct410 have deviated in many ways, there are now very few common parts in the kits. So I think from a manufacturing standpoint it might be good to have more shared parts with one of their kits.discuss, debate and fight, go.

That's very doubtful. But it is something I will bring up to FierceRC since he's been known to put upgrade packages that make sense together.

I have no direct knowledge, and probably way off base, but I expect the eb410 to be a whole new breed without much in common. New chassis for sure, and I expect everything else to be scaled down a bit as far as size is concerned. Again, this is just my guessing based off what is on the market now.

the SCT410 to be honest differed quite a bit from the EB48 when it first was released since it used a lot of specific sized parts versus the EB48.
Heck of the SCT 4x4 race level production vehicles, the closest I saw to the 1/8 buggy counterpart was my Durango, probably since it had those pivot ball suspension setup so just needed shorter arms, etc. The trade off was being it was quite a bit heaiver than other 4x4 SCTs.
part of here is wondering if I should pick up say an EB48SL on the cheap to use for 1/8 e buggy running out here as that shares parts with the SCT410s and can be had cheap. would love an EB48.4 for sure though, just not sure if 1/8 e buggy is going to be something local this year.
