Thank you. I just put on the pink springs today actually, and the only other thing I did not do was to screw in the rod ends all the way. I just screwed them in until they were flush with the threads.

If you stop when the last thread is no longer visible you should still have more shaft to thread into the shock end. Keep threading until the rod bottoms out in the end. I like to constantly move the ball around and as soon as I feel the ball get tight in the plastic I back the rod off slightly.

Springs for stock setup
I have a stock setup. I see the fronts are green. Assuming the rear are black? No color so I assume it is black.
Without making a bunch of changes, what are the best springs for the rear (with green fronts)....? Just trying to minimize nosediving. Pushing the throttle full almost full whack at the jumps is getting old. Don't have a ton of time to fine tune this, shock rebuild rtf... Just the quickest easiest spring solution to improve.
Thanks!

I honestly don't get this nose down problem people are having, i also don't understand this front ride height issue people are having, i built my car completely stock, the only thing i did was build my shocks emulsion style and i run on a large 1/8 scale track with huge jumps and i run the proline flo-teck body and my .3 flys perfectly level and from day one with out bedding in my shocks i had no problem with ride height, i guess long story short is all those people having problems i suggest building your shocks emulsion style and really put some re search into the body you choose as all kits leave tekno exactly the same and the only difference is the way you build the truck and its funny how it seems only a handful off people experience the 2 problems mentioned above. Just my 2cents.
GREAT TRUCK TEKNO UNSTOPPABLE.

So you are running the kit setup completely stock on " large 1/8 scale tracks with huge jumps" and the truck doesn't jump nose down at times? Weird I would think kit setup would be a MILE off on a big outdoor 1/8 track . The ride height issue and the nose down issue are real and don't just effect a "handful" of people . Its a great truck and I will get it sorted and the guys from Tekno are giving suggestions to fix it which is great. By the way mine personally doesn't nose over if I hit the jumps perfect BUT if I loose my focus things can get ugly. The ride height issue is real, EVERYONE at my local track is dealing with it, some worse then others. Guys are shaving there shock collars thin and running 0 preload on shocks and STILL sitting too high up front.

I have no doubt the issues are real to some people I'm just talking about my own personal experiences, what i have noticed is that out of seven of the trucks that run at our track, only 1 person had the ride height issue and I'm not sure if its coincidence or not but he is the only one that built his shocks bladder style, as soon as he built them emulsion style he found the ride height perfect, again this is only my experience and is purely only a suggestion to people having the issues that it might be worth while checking the things i mentioned, now if you already run the flo-tek body and built your shocks emulsion and are still having the problems i have no idea what your options are except the ones listed by tekno, and again here were i race the issues people go on about are non existent hense the coment these issues only effect a small number off people.
