Default Orion, Tekin, or something else?

I picked up a used MP9e TKI, It came with a Hobbywing SCT Pro esc and a Tekin gen2 1900kv motor. I want to really trick it out with aftermarket parts and electronics upgrades. I was thinking a full Tekin gen2 setup or a full Orion setup. What say you?

I would say what you have is fine. Spend the money on tires and track time to tune it to your liking.

The HW SCT esc is a really good piece. I seriously doubt you would even notice a difference by switching to a more expensive sensored Tekin setup. The Tekins are super nice and highly adjustable...but the HW escs have proven to be top runners also.

I agree with the guy's. HW is just as good as the others and 1/2 the price. Spend your money on tires and setup for your track!

Just keep running with the gear you got. I was running the Viper ESC in my MP9E but no point changing the ESC unless something wrong.

Got rid of my Tekin RX8 for an HW SCT Pro, much more happy with the HW.

Look at the Hobbywing V3.1 ESC and the Orion R10, also the SCT Pro and the Orion R8. Who do you think is making Orions ESCs?
