Default 2WD MM - Shorty vs Saddle/Square packs

Hey all!

I've built my RB6 RM, but considering a switch to MM. A lot of MM pictures I see for MM setups are running saddle packs for the RB6. In my MM Firebolt, I run shorties, but this weekend I saw a Firebolt run square pack and it looked better.

I run mod, so I'm not searching for super lightness, but when running MM, is it better to go saddle/square pack, instead of shorty? I guess the extra weight is helping to plant the car but at what point do you stop adding weight?

I run a shorty in my rb6. The saddle is extra weight that you could place where you want it, instead of in a battery.

Il tell you the truth i think Full size packs will work much better for Rear grip than a Shorty pack with a MM setup if your running on a lower traction surface indoors.
