Ended up using 1.5mm which stays put nicely. I agree a 1.2 isn't much a difference than running without

I was wondering if you had problems with the chamfered motor mount? The stock aluminum one is soft at the motor screw slots and amain does not list a non chamfered one. Just wondering what kind of hit it takes to knock the motor loose or bend it??

Pretty decent hit into a wall. Spazzed out and hi the throttle instead of the brakes. If I had the right tools I could possibly try and knock it back into shape, but it's not a pricey upgrade. I'll stick with stock for awhile before I decide to try another upgraded motor mount.

I ended up with some thick washers on the motor screws to fix my problem . Now I need to get this new 3 disk slipper set so it transfers power smooth .

amain has the YOKZ2-300RS . I sandwiched them and got 1.8mm under the hangers for low grip.

I figured there was another way. Still got the shims from Mibo, but in the meantime ballstud washers seem to work well.

I did have to put some orings on the shock shaft to limit up travel . The arm would hit the outdrive on full compression without them. I stacked 3 of those 0.6 mm shims under both hangers and put a 0.2 mm shim on top of the rear hanger to compensate for the 2mm pastic spacer I removed between the trans and hanger. I wish their were some setup sheets listing the thickness in mm of the shims you got from mibo to use as a reference point .

I plan on measuring them when I get them in, will share the info when I have it. From the pictures I saw on Mibos page they aren't that thick. I have one black shim under the under the RR suspension block (stock shim from kit), and 1mm between that block and the aluminum YZ-2 camber link, and the car is really good now, also ditched the sway bars, and dropped shock oil to 35/30 to eliminate traction roll on high grip smooth clay, car is a dart now. Definitely has that carpet driving feel now.

Im not sure there is any such part as Z4-300srf. The Z2-300srf however is a steel version of Z2-300rf.

Default Roll bars

Guys,

When building the antiroll bars; How deeply should the bar get into the metal ball ends before securing it with the grub screws? Also I would appreciate it if anybody could share some tips as to when and how to use the antiroll bars.

Thanks

I have mine set so that the bar is perpendicular to the link . The grub screw ends up grabbing about 3mm from the end of the bars . I copy driver setup sheets on http://site.petitrc.com/setup/yokomo...YokomoYZ4.html for bar thickness . Some are running piano wire on a local carpet track . I am gonna run without them this week on a loamy dirt track for more side bite .

The yz2 and yz4 use the same rear/front hanger for the standard s4 arms . The rear/rear hanger YOKZ4-300SRR has different dimensions to match the yz4 chassis and Upper Arm Mount .

thank you, that was what I was trying to figure out. looks like on some setups the standard braces are used with L arms to make it even wider.
