Mugen Guide:
Ackerman:
Running the ackerman position forward will be more responsive initially and then have a smoother feel on exit of the turn. Running the ackerman position back will have smoother off power steering and increase on-power steering.

Also see bottom of page 4 for Losi. This book is one of the best things they ever did for the SCTE owner. You can also look up TEN-SCTE 2.0 Tuning Tips.

those are the cheap version of the badlands ! they are made of a hard compound so they won't bite much but I don't race. I bash on soft dirt / grass where they work good.
I appreciate that they last for ever and that they are very well glued.
but the foam didn't last very long...

Tyres that last forever, you just made a hole heap of us envious, reading the posts about springs it seems like a lot of people at my track are running the softer nitro springs but still around the 5-600 cst oil, i am thinking that they must be using very small hole piston, i just went stiffer front spring, which i like, most other settings i have taken from nitro2be's comments, besides less kick up over jumps what will reducing droop do.

Wow this thread is dead... Lets pick it up a notch. What's everyone's goto or starting point shock package?

Right now I'm running 6x1.35 pistons with anywhere from 575-525 up front and 475-425 in the back. Im building them emulsion style (bladder flipped).

For springs I'm not settled yet, but right now my car is on black 10.0 (E0556) on the rear and black 9.0 (E2517) on the front.

Also, I'd like to find a editable/savable pdf setup sheet. I've found a blank one but wasn't able to edit the forms. I like to save / share my setups and having a nice type digital copy is great.

** EDIT **
Found one the pdf I was looking for on petitrc.com

I ditched stock pistons and went with the VRP's. 1.3 5 hole, 37.5w front 32.5wt rear. The car is better but not great. Needed to put softer springs in the rear but sold the car instead.
Currently trying, 3.0e, RC8B3, EB48.3, and Converted D815.
The D815 is leading... by a ways

Emulsion, it's the same shock setup on my nitro car to. Mine doesn't feel soft. Joe was disappointed he didn't get to drive mine after the rac like last year. He said my car looked awesome
