I had the same problem when i first built my car, didn't realise the batteries i ordered were a full inch longer then most others.
Basically i cut off the vertical sections from front corner and back edge of the battery tray, did the same at the front of the esc tray and then glued the battery tray and esc tray together.
That let the battery overlap onto the esc tray slightly but still left enough room for the esc.

Hi,
I have used my car two seasons now and need to repair once again. Will there be a mbx8 soon or not? At the moment there are a lot of options but will they release a new car with all parts? Any ideas or thoughts?

There won't be a new Mugen before the later half of 2018. That's what's Drake and people who should know have said.

There is nothing really wrong with the MBX7R to warrant a new platform, I have even reverted back to my MBX7. The car is just such a good performer, I hope they just update it once more like when they offered Prospec cars, lol.

Look at the MP9, it too is rather long in the tooth, but it works well (I know, I used to race Kyosho since the MP7.5 - MP9). Robert Battle just won the Euros, Ogden just placed, Maifield is running well...

Hey Dana, That was a Tamiya TA07 I built to run the TCS series. Shoot me a message if you have any questions on it.
