If you have the 4 gear tranny that came with the T5M these are all you need to switch to 3-gear as far as I know because you should already have the top shaft.

I know a lot of people switch to Avid or Schelle slippers, but I have been happy with stock AE slippers except for the T5m. It really should have come with the larger pads or the VTS slipper like the B5m and SC5m. So my 3 cars are the same, I bought the VTS conversion (part 91175) for the T5m. I do run the slipper pretty tight as I run on carpet.

This weekend was my first time racing a stadium truck, and I really liked it. one thing I was wondering if anyone has a printable tuning guide like TLR has for the Tenscte 2.0
http://www.tlracing.com/ProdInfo/Fil...uning_Tips.pdf that thing is sweet, does Associated have anything like that for their trucks? or does anyone know where to get a good reliable guide like that for these. Other than getting used to driving a 2 wheel drive again I do think I am going to look into another slipper as they put the old ones on the new trucks.

So I am looking to buy a T5M to go along with my B5MFL buggy. How does this truck handle? I have a T4 that I used to play around with but I want to get into racing with something better for the ST class. I was thinking just the kit with of course wheels and tires and do the 3 gear transmission for it. I run on outdoor low to medium bite track. I am pretty decent from what I am told and make a mistake here and there but the majority of the time I keep my buggy planted and flying around the track.
For right now I would be running a 10.5 LRP motor until I can get something better along with a better ESC.

Was looking at some pics of Ryan C. 2015 T5M and seen one that showed the battery in it top view what size battery is that? I can see its a Orion 4500 I mean outside dimension wise, is that a shorty pack. I got the square packs for mine and it fills up the battery area side to side and I can only move it front to rear the thickness of the small piece of foam it came with. Was just wondering as it seems a shorty pack if that's what it is would give you more adjustment as far as weight placement front to rear. Here is link from the pics I am talking about you got to scroll down to the T5M

Also I noticed looking at the springs they are a lot longer than the ones that came in the kit what are they?

The process is pretty simple. Take the tranny out, swap the parts and put it back in. Just make sure the adjusting nut on the diff still faces the same way when you are finished.
