I believe the wing is from a Losi XXX. I found it in a old box of parts.
I tried to paint the stock plastic wing but the result was not good.

The Flash is a 15x2 too! A friend gave it to me, it is like new.

Cool, are those shocks better quality or just longer with more volume do you know? Do you have to use the CF shock towers with these shocks? I just put in an order for some of those universal shafts from Banzai and it said in stock but they said they can't supply, odd?

Banzai often does job orders. So that they don't stock too much inventory. That's how they keep prices down.

The HG shocks are higher capacity and longer; so you will need the longer shock towers. They can also be bled from the top, like modern shocks.

I decided to buy the longer towers in Aluminium from Pargu. To me, the carbons look odd on an 80s based car

Ah cool, I may have to order them again sometime, I did get a couple of spare std ones just in case I lose one. I thought the same about the carbon towers on an 80s buggy, just looks out of place, I'd much prefer alloy for the look. Have you had any issues with the std shocks or just replaced them anyway? Thanks.

The standard ones are a nightmare, I can't get them bled properly.

You must be right there, I put in another order for some tyres and bits they showed in stock again, I was supplied one part out of the lot . Obviously I'll have to click backorder if I want anything lol.

Here are some updated picts with Pargus parts. My roof is not perfect either, but it will be a runner so I'm not that concerned. It's too bad he doesn't counter sink the holes like the 2014. I did it myself, however I messed up on the ones that are on the bed.

Front shock towers with standard shocks

Rear shock towers with test fit of TRF shocks.. No go!

Now I just need to wait for my HG shocks to arrive from Banzai

Thank you for the pics. I fitted vintage AE shocks on mine, on the stock locations. I had to dremel a bit of the rear tower so the rear shocks could clear it, maybe you could do the same?

Cool, I was wondering if AE shocks off the old RC10 would fit as I'm sure I have some floating around somewhere.
