Seems like they're testing the waters a bit based on the success that Tamiya and Associated had with re-releases.

So I just picked up a Scorpion to use for some vintage racing. What are the must have spares for this car? The class I will be running in does not allow any hop-ups; must use the kit wheels+tires and a 540 silver can.
Am I more likely to be snapping alloy arms or bending hinge pins? Should I be looking at spare screws and small parts that are likely to come lose rather than large parts that I might break? The track is fairly flat with only some small jumps, so I don't expect to break much; but would like to be covered just in case.
Cheers,
Scott.

Those side guards, is that what they are called and is there someone out there who sell alloy side guards?
I am wondering on getting one of these. Ether Scorpion or the Tomahawk.
Can you use modern day rear wheels on the rear rims? Or are modern wheels the wrong size?
What kind of dampers work with the original front stay and with the long damper stay in the rear?
