Default B5M discontinued?

I'm a newbie so before I make a decisions I wanted to get some opinions. I'm very interested in the B5M but just noticed that tower has discontinued them and amain has limited stock. My question for you guys would be, does this indicate that they're working on a new car or is everyone just trying to sell out so people will buy the lite or champions edition?

the regular b5m kit is being discontinued. The lite and the new Championship edition are the current kits

Buy the lite. It's still the best value with everything you'll ever need as a new guy.

Bob, why don't you come up to full throttle for the mayhem race on the 20th & 21st. A bunch of us are going over from the northeast. It should be a pretty full track. (they also run pro-lite)

Anyone have problems with wheel's coming loose? I'm running the blue AE nylon nuts, but still somehow come loose no matter how tight I try to get them. Is something bound up or broke you think? Only happening since I moved to mod.

This is what I'm using on my B5M and T5M. Inexpensive, light and really grab on the wheel.

Anyone having issues getting the pins in the rear axle?

I just got a b5m Lite and it seems like the holes are not drilled correctly where the pins go thru the CVA.
I used an old axle with the new CVA everything went together as it should.

Had issues besides the axles, missing one crush tube and 2 3x18mm flathead screw. arg took the one off my old car but still.

Those look like they will work nice, I haven't had a problem with the ones from the kit but I wouldn't call $1.70/nut inexpensive

FYI, I run stock AE serrated wheels nuts, because nobody pays me to run anything else.

You're right , $1.70 for a wheel nut is a bit spendy ....

BUT

$6 to make sure you never lose a wheel during a race after spending hours tuning , tweaking, driving , practicing etc. is pretty stinking cheap.
