The shock guards. Are peopel using them? I have been, but they cause the cup to get dislodged a lot. I have it happen every other pack, mostly in the front.

Will the lunsford or avid standoffs for the B5M fit the D413 when swapping caps or must you run the normal screw standoff?

any of the B5 mounts should work fine. I used the AVID and the AE kits ones with no issues

Also when removing the shocks from tower, in one of the tips, they recommend removing the whole mount from tower, so that way the "ball cup" cap doesn't start getting play. Check out first page for pic.

I use them only on the rear. There shouldn't be much throwing dirt onto the front shock shafts. After all, you should be in front of the rest of the field, throwing dirt on their cars.

As of right now the only option for Alum Shock Caps is piecing together some parts from the Serpent SRX buggy, but it gets pricey. A lot of us are waiting to hear when Prolines Alum Caps will be ready.

Last I knew was proline wasn't making the caps, those were just one offs for ty. HB is working on aluminum caps.

Brandon is correct, Proline will not be producing caps although they could have made a killing by now.

I think he said per set, so 2x pistons I think. Although, "pair" should mean 2 and a "set" should be 4.

When you buy a set of tires for your real car, that is 4 tires and a pair is 2. Unless you say, I want a set of rear tires, then that is 2 because you ware only referring to the rear tires. Unless you have a dually, then it is 4 tires for the rear set.....
