It is crazy, I've tried it for 2 minutes and went back to normal. I ran at local out door track tonight for 1st time since my indoor track closed, this buggy kicks a$$. Only change was to stiffer springs and the car was glued. Took a head on colision with a SC on the straight and thought for sure I'd be done, but kept going ,Nothing wrong, and heard the SC guy say "I'm broke". Lol. He crossed over not me. I'm in love with hot bodies d413

Hello All, looks like I've succumb to the dreaded front shock shaft problem. Took a head on collision when someone jumped the track and snapped it just above the shock end. And to make matters worse it doesn't seem like anyone has them in stock. Anyone want to sell me one? Or if you can point to a known source of them in stock. I've placed a few orders so far only to be told the website was wrong or that it will be a few weeks. Thanks!

Has anyone tried using the Pro Line Pro Shock shafts up front? according to their site it seems to work with 5mm of limiters.

"Use 6267-01 in the Front with 5mm of limiters and use 6308-01 or 6308-31 in the Rear. Use 2mm spacers on the top of the shocks to get the correct shock angle."

I don't think those PL shock shafts fit in the HB shock bodies. I think the shock shaft is thicker. Those are PL specific and are intended to be used with that PL style shock, which the shock assembly can be used on the HB kit.

The "new" b5m rear V2 shafts "should" work. They taper down for a 2.5mm ID on the piston, which is the same as the D413 pistons ("I think").

Since most of us run 100k in center diff would you also run 100k in center on 8th scale e buggy? I really like the way 100k is on this d413 and thinking of doing 8th e buggy. Anyone know what ty runs in his diffs for ebuggy?

Center Diff in E-buggies typically run from 3-7K.

Yes, I'm seeing that on set up sheets, but if 100k works so well in this little d413 with 3 gears diffs why would it be so different for 8th scale ebuggy?

They are two different scales, different oils are going to be optimal. By all means try 100k in the center diff of your electric 1/8th scale, you may like it. Back when people were first converting 1/8th scales to electric, my buddy built a super over powered car and it handled like crap. The motor made way more power than a nitro engine, so he started upping the center diff oil and it started to get better. The thickest fluid he could get was 300k. It worked okay, so I suggested just filling the center diff with JB Weld. Full time 4wd worked well for his super over powered car. Now that 1/8th scale specific electronics exist, setups more closely to what is normal in a nitro car.

Looks good. You may want to get a different servo horn though. If you want to run an aluminum horn, the HB horn is a direct fit.

Looks real nice, you got all the good stuff before you hit the track. Your gonna be real happy. +1 on servo horn and with the aluminum wing mounts you might look into the sworks 104 wing. It's like an 8th scale plastic. Never breaks

Reverse the ball stud on the servo horn will straighten that stering angle.
