Thinking about picking up a D413.I watched Jason's video on it and it looks like the only other things really needed are titanium turnbuckle and a body LOL. Anything else other then spare parts

Had a chance to get some track time last night and test out the flex decks. track record as of last week was 27.7 and i managed to run a best time of 27.6 with kit setup except for proto 2 stage pistons and the flex deck. So on med grip the car has potential for sure!
The decks worked for sure but i think the front had a bit too much flex , i will make a few more to test this week. Pistons were really good, started off with 350r/450f which is a bit light but ran ok. Had some issues with the rear not settling down on exit and just feeling a bit unstable in general but i think changing the dif fluids will help as well as lowering the rear roll center to unlock the rear on entry. I am thinking 8/75/5 and going up to 400/500 on shock oils! here is a quick vid after the races last night, camera angle sucked sorry about that!

today was the second raceday with my buggy. Talk about Battle tested.! I was the only buggy and I raced in a heat with nine other 4wd short course. and we all know how they drive. I broke NOTHING. finished every race.

i qualed 5 out of 10 and finished 6th. The buggy is still a ways from where i would called dialed(slowly getting there). That will come. But i love this buggy.

on a related note. i TQed and took 2nd in the 2wd bucket class(9 cars with my dest210)

If anyone is looking...I happen to have a nice d413 that I'll be selling. Will come with the sway bars, extra center diff, b5 shock caps, new in package stock body and few sets of indoor tires. Please PM me for details or if you have questions. I'll be cleaning it up and posting pics in the sale thread later today.

Yes sir!! as soon as i get a little more testing done, i think the front is a little too much as it is.

10/80/3 sounds good, what kind of surface do you run on?

Not sure why you need, TI turnbuckles, no real need unless you have money to spend... LOL or plan to change out to use different ball cups. Stock ones are just fine. Last week I cart wheeled mine 4 times into a wall, marshall put on track and kept driving, was only crash I had and I even cringed at first... LOL

I am running 7k front, 100k center 3k rear in my diffs, high bite smooth wet dirt indoors. Super soft tires shaved to slicks with closed cell foam inserts. Having trouble diffing out coming onto straight after sweeper. Was thinking about going to 300k in center and 10k rear. Would like to leave front alone, car has good steering, but not putting the power down. 5.5t Tekin Gen2 motor. I know my info is all over the place but wanted to make sure I covered the vitals...

I am in the same dilemma. We are running clay slicks. And I also feel like the car is diffing out. Part my my issue is roll though. I think the car rolling over far. And some of my wheels are leaving the ground. I am thinking about removing some of the droop and going to the black rear sway. I have not really gone beyond the 100k center fluid because I worry about over stressing the spur gear. I can feel it slip getting on the power going straight, and i am sure that 300k would lock it in more. I just dont feel like the hard launching forward bite will be useful. I can blip it over our triple that has a short run up.
