So looking at picture in this view front of the car is at the top of the picture. Keep the orientation of the tray the same. You will want to trim the frontal inner lobe off until you can fit next to the front brace. You will be able to get the screw into the front most side gaurd hole when you take enough material off. The other spot you will have to trim is right next to the center diff. I believe the rear most inner screw is the only otger existing screw. The rest of the holes you will have to drill and tap the holes to make sure the tray is properly held to the chassis. Hope this helps!

im glad you posted that maddog I was curious how I was going to run my esc wires! I was gonna use braided sheathing over the wires and run them up over the center diff but that is MUCH nicer!

Good to know that. I get the kit tomorrow and will start work on it then. I guess the battery forward is a must do? Wasn't it forward on the 2.0?

We have a center diff that keeps breaking. On the first run of the car it ran fine for half a battery, then something gave and slowly progressed into no power (vs. less power) to the wheels.
We took it a part and inspected it. No issues that we could see. Added new 5k weight oil and put it back together per the manual.
Got back out and ran great for a battery. Then, a few minutes into the next battery the same thing happened.
This is on car 1 of 2 we just built, and car two is having no issues.
Can anyone give us an idea of what's going on? We are kind of scratching out heads...

The first time it happened the center diff did leak some oil but it wasn't evident where it was actually leaking. We haven't taken it back out yet, and didn't notice any oil while cleaning it up.

Did you take the sun gears out and check the outdrives and pins.
It is pretty odd to have a failure like this and not see anything broken and have it go back together and work for a short period again. With the power we put through these things, stuff usually either works or its broken.
