On bumpy track I like the 1's in the front , the car can handle the bump's really well.

Concerning the differentials, I think i will keep the 5-7-2 setup this fits my driving style most. Im running a 4S 6500 mAh Tekin RX8 Gen2 and T8 1900 kv.
I think you would consider this as a heavy setup.
Unfortunately we don`t have any indoor tracks near by so its all about outdoor.
Yes in addition to the pistons recomended in Adam Drake`s standard
outdoor setup i ordered all TLR oils from 40WT to 30WT.
I still don`t have an idea what "splits" pistons are ?
I understand that there are tapered pistons and pistons
which have holes with different diameters but i never heard of "splits".

Im reading it on the setup sheet too ? "1's up and 1's down front pivot"
Are we talking about the Kickup inserts ?

I have tried the 5 hole pistons and the nitro shock setup with the 8 hole pistons back to back and find that for the outdoor track I was at the 8 hole shock setup (Adam Drake's setup) worked best. The buggy handled the bumps better and jumped better. There seemed to be a little too much "pack" with the 5 hole pistons on the outdoor track I was at.
I even tried the silver rear spring vs. the green rear springs and definitely the green rear springs suit the ebuggy.

We have tried them in the past. They don't work well with electric. It has to do with how the SD engages and how eletric motors are instant power. With a nitro motor and the clutch and everything they work better for nitro. You can try them but the work kind of funky in an electric application.

Just starting my build..Just finished the front end and I have one question. I'm building the car with Phends national setup on it and im confused about the pivot inserts. It says "1's up and 1's down front pivot" Does that mean 1's up in the front most hinge pin brace by the bumper, and 1's down on the other end? Or the other way around?

You are correct, 1`s up in the front most insert and 1`s down in the rear facing (inboard) insert. This will give you +2° Kickup.

I will have to switch to a 16/43 (Gen2 T8 1900kv). Using the 15/43 i got up to 180°F on the Motor housing (outside) and the RX8 Gen2 was completely cold. On my local track we have a straight with approx. 57 yds (53 meters).
I hope that i still have enough acceleration in the infield and that i can lower the Motor temperature down to about 160°F by switching to the 16t pinion.
