The brushlesshobbies lt4 works great in a sct. That's strictly what I ran in my last scte and it worked flawlessly. For $65 it's a bargain.

Taping the threads down that deep I got a false sense of "tight". Once you kind of get the threads formed getting the screw in and out once I was able to compress the gasket properly and get a good seal. The HD diff cases come with a thicker gasket already that seals better. I had this issue when I first built my 2.0 diffs but on the second rebuild the screws went in much easier and I got a good seal and they have been perfect since.
Should i re-use that gasket?... my lhs only had non hd ones...

As long as the gasket isn't torn at all I would reuse it. Just be sure to tighten the screws evenly in an x pattern to get a good even seal.

That's not true at all....they were sending replacements out this summer that were the old design to keep guys going....they had a problem with the bec's...they were switching instead of linear....if you had actually talked to michael he would of told you to run an external bec until the new lower boards were available...thats what i did...if you have any old ones send em to me....they will replace ANY ESC with a bad lower board!!

Anyone using the r10 pro 160a with a hobbywing 4000kv 4 pole? How is the esc handling it? I currently have an rx8 but I'm sick of carrying around my computer to change the settings. Also would like to swap my rs out for an Orion in my 22sct which Orion is best for that application?

I have heard that the sct pro HW is very smooth with the 4000 kv HW motor....I have one rx8 in parts, one that threw smoke and one that wont recognize the car,the current one has a pinched wire LOL...I dont use credit cards anymore and you need one for repairs.Guess I could do a pre paid type card tho and send um in.. ....
