xlgraphicspro-Your statements on the stock motor's is TOTALLY WRONG.

The P2k is a Torque MONSTER and has to be geared TALL to get good Speed or RPM.This was Trinity's 2nd rebuildable.Perfect for tight tracks and offroad truck. Can be used in buggy just remeber the higher pinion.

The Monster is NOT more torque than speed.Your statement is TOTALLY false....This is a RPM based motor so your statement is way off on this one.

The Epic stock has a lil more RPM than a Monster but is a lil harder to gear.Great for bigger tracks or 1/12th scale.

MVP isnt a total dog.Just have to set it up right and put a

HUGE pinion on it.Decent motor actually.

Hope this clears things up a lil because you were WAYYY off.

I ran a few handout races with MVP's and geared it the same I did a P2K2...ran great for what it was, just not on pair with the Epic-based stockers.

Anyone got recommendations for a stock motor tuner? Looking for someone who carries tuned P2k2s.

We have hand tuned P2K's and P2K2's in stock. Let us know what class you are racing and we will hand tune it to how you like. All motors are made to order and built to your style of racing. Feel free t oask around and do a search on "Axiom" on here.

Yes they are!

Does anyone know the word on whether or not Reedy will produce a new stock motor?....I'd like to see something new out of Reedy and TOP.

Based on experience, what I said hold true! Monsters have the torque you want especially if you gear low. It generally has more low end punch. The higher you gear, the less torque you produce and become less efficient.

The epic stock has more rpm, so more top end. This one I agree is hard to gear, because it seems if you try to gear it low to get more torque, You just loose your rpm for a little gain on the torque side.

P2k, I actually haven't used this motor for a while since the last time I ran it was this summer.

The number that come with these motors tend to back up what I said.

As for the MVP, I still think it's a dog, especially if you run carpet where motor and batteries are more important. since it's easier to lay the power down, and not much wheel spin.

Everyone who uses the MVP gets blown away because they have to gear it so tall. In the end that creates more rotating mass and kills the over all performance.

Also, I think you miss under stood me, I didn't say the monster stock had more torque than the p2k. I made a general statement about it's torque to rpm ration as being probably the most well rounded motor. meaning it has a good amount of torque and rpm.

the monster has more torque than rpm, that I've found is true. buck suck on off road!

Default Integy MATRIX V10 TWINTURBO 27T Stock Motor

I know it's been a few years sense someone has used this thread and asked this question. But I'll ask it again.

Has anybody tried this motor recently?
Does anybody have an opinion on this motor?
Has anybody had any luck racing with this motor?
I'm interested in racing info more then bashing info.

Thanks
