To get 25 degrees of front kick it looks like you put the 25 facing the rear??

Whatever if facing forward is what your running. If you want 25* make sure the 25* is facing the front/top.

OK my bad. I was looking at the old block I just took out. That thing is really beat to crap.
Just took the new block out of the package and now it makes sense.
My old block is totally warped!! I bet it handles even better now!! LOL!

Got the frontend all freshened up. Can't wait to hit Trackside raceway on Friday!!
I'm sure most already know this and are doing this but I had a little slop in the JC and Schelle steering rack. These shim sets are sweet for tightening up the lash between moving parts in basically the entire car. With the fresh front end I didn't need any but as the hinge points wear you can throw in a shim and tighten it up again. I added a .2 to the aluminum standoffs for the steering rack. .1 wasn't enough. .3 was just a shade snug. I added a .1 with the front axle spacers to make them butter smooth with zero endplay. They also fit in place of the rear antisquat shims.
Just a tip for noobs from a noob.

Most run 78spur. With a 72, might be hard to get a pinion under 20 to get to thr spur. 78 -23 or close to that should be plenty for most tracks

What does the low mount 4.8 ball stud in the akerman do for the car? And would there be any benefit running it on the steering arm?

An example would be the steering rack. In the forward rack position using a low mount ball stud is the same as reversing the rack. Running the rack backwards with a 1mm shim and normal ball stud equal rack forward. Many ways to achieve the same thing.
The real benefit of the low mount ball stud is things like bump steer and roll centre changes on the camber links. It's common to run a low mount on the inner camber link of the zx6 to raise the roll centre in high grip conditions.

Noob question! Can you use the b5 rear hubs on the rb6? I'm digging the schelle ones...
