I tried my car with 25+4 and REALLY liked it. It calmed the front end down just enough but it still had a great amount of steering. Our new layout is really flowing and tight and so far I've been able to put down the fastest laps.

What does the 2mm on the ackerman do?
Think I'm going to try the 25+4.. Say I already have to way to much so taking some out might help.

Makes the steering more aggressive. Since I'm running 25+4 caster it loses some low speed but this brought some back while keeping it tame. I like it quite a bit.
Sweet! Think I'm going to try this out.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Sorry for double post but does the car come with the stuff to do the +4 change? Or do you have to order it? Went through my stuff and didn't see any inserts for the casterblock.

It should have unless the person who sold it to you tossed them. If you buy the caster blocks it comes with a full set of A and B inserts in 0, 2 and 4.

So just rebuilt my shocks. Put pink in the front. Gold In the rear. 32.5 all the way round and medium ends all the way around. And 2x1.6 pistons all the way around. Still no difference. My collars are all the way to bottom of the threads all the way around. I just don't get it. Bout to just say fuck it an run it lol the rear barely even bounces back. 24mm ride heights

I think for our tight indoor tracks in my area, 25deg would be a better option. For more flowing/larger tracks I think 29 makes sense.
I like your idea of adding spacers to the ackermann bar, tighter turning radius, to get more turn-in as well.

Just got an RB6 and it is my first 2WD buggy.
Can anyone point me to a decent carpet setup? Track is a medium size indoor. 2 layers of carpet over concrete. Tires are spec - Proline Pin Points rear and Proline Wedges on the front. Grip is super high bite.
I have all the OEM kit-included options as well as the UMW722 brass front suspension holder as well as the UMW719 rear bulkhead weights available to me.
Currently it is set up in mid configuration (shortie battery) with receiver on top of servo and ESC in between motor and battery. It is set up with 1.5° of negative camber on all 4 corners, 3° of rear toe in and about 1.5° of toe out in the front. 45wt shock oil in the front and 35wt in the rear.
Any thoughts/suggestions appreciated.

I started with a setup very similar to k-kings but inline battery on Sunday, then looking for more drive off the corner I used the 1.1mm rear sway bar with a pink rear spring(moving down from gold) and the shock out one hole on the tower and no brass weight on the back. Got more entry/mid steering and more drive off. As the tracked gripped up I thought the spring would be to soft but it never felt this way. Track ended up high grip outdoor, was running bald proline suburb x2 compound tires and was still hooked up in mod.
Would like to try this setup in a low grip condition now. I was all set to do the side ways shorty mod but the car is so good at the moment I'm not sure I will bother.

Any ideas of the AE front spring that is similar to the Kyosho gold front??
