I too was wondering why they reverted back to the old slipper. I run a hybrid slipper assembly; white pad and non-vented plate in the rear and the red pad with the vented disc up front, I also use the WC spring retaining washers. This set up provides the most consistency I've found. Finally drove the buggy last night, and I have to say, it is awesome. Stuck to the track and has good steering out of the box. I have added 14g of weight behind my servo (KO low profile) and the car rotated incredibly well. Can't wait to race it tonight.... Just FYI, I am pretty much running tebo's nat set up, with a few minor changes.

Another thing that just amazes me, is how far off the cut lines are on the front of the body! I never use body clips, I always use velcro, so I just cut the entire front piece of the body off. Much better.

I think the t-nut for my diff wasn't included.. Only bag left is the shocks and I've looked thru them.. Any other brand that will fit for now?
I'm contacting Kyosho America, but I want to get this thing out of the living room today

All-be-damned... there they are. Two tiny little plastic things. How disappointing! Im going to have to go buy another WC slipper assembly for my RB6. Thanks for finding those in my bag for me

I'm new to electric offroad. Are we to drill small holes in the front wheels? The rear wheels had 2 holes pre-drilled. I'm pretty sure I do but wanted to make sure. Also, I ordered and received front tires (Sweep 10Droids) that are intended for 4wd buggies. They fit on the wheels fine. Can I run theses? I'll be racing on a med/high bite indoor clay track.

Or you can use the alloy t-nut for the Tamiya diff if you want to upgrade

Guys I appreciate the help, my 5yr old thought the whole piece looked good as a take in her doll house.
Crisis averted.
I'll have pics up tomorrow

Was thinking of getting this buggy but I race stock normally. I hav a ton of money tied up in my rb5 and it's awesome. Do you think this is more of a mod car Cause of its weight?

its roller weight is within a few grams of the 22.. That's lighter than the 210.. I say it should be fine. I'll let you know in one week if you haven't purchased by then
