Finished putting the car back to midship, trying the stock rear arms this time, I like that I can fine tune the wheelbase more with them for one, also trying a few other geometry changes that aren't often used. When I ran mid last time at our track I ended up with the shorty forward, but inline, so I think sideways and forward a bit will still work. I would like to fit a battery strap and not rely on tape, but I have to make something.

The RTR is quite a value! I wonder if the chassis is any different, or is it just the annodization?

If anyone is looking for a kit, let me know. I haven't posted it up yet, but my RB6 is loaded and ready to go. Will post up a formal add later with details but figured I would give you guys a heads up first.

I'm getting that one for my son. It's a really good value for a beginner.

Getting ready for 1/10 indoor racing this year I have been running a b4 and b4.1 the last couple of years. Was looking at the RB6 is it worth the extra money or better to get a b4.2? Thanks

I had the same setup. Car rotates awesome. I used a rb5 battery strap trimmed to fit under the motor guard secured in front with the aluminum posts for the rb5.

Off-topic: which brand paint did you use for the orange?

Looks good,

Been playing with the MM setup for a little bit and this past weekend had a chance to talk to Tebo about his. I started out with the stock RB6 arms for the weekend. They had been working good enough for me. Car was solid, but still needed a little help.

In talking to Tebo, I was schooled on a number of things Kyosho, specifically the stock rear arms vs. the RB5/Zx5 arms and the differences between them. Way to omany options to keep track of for me. LOL. I'm told that the Rb6 rear arms are more like the NGC rear arms for the ZX5 geometry wise and Tebo wasn;t a huge fan of them. Those arms do have the most adjustability to them, so I'm thinking that I may go back and try them again, but for now the ZX5 rear arms I put on sure made the car much better. We'll see how I like it for my local indoor track, though most of the guys running the RB6 in Rm, do use the RB5/ZX5 arms.

Can anyone recommend a rattle can orange that turns out erm orange (i.e. NOT Tamiya Orange PS7 which is pale red )? The Serpent Orange or Mike's 'Xray orange' . Sorry for the OT. Thanks!

Any "Candy" paint will appear translucent, and you will need to back it properly, that backed with silver will look nice, but will not be that bright.

I haven't found a nice bright pearl orange in a rattle can as of yet.
