I got a chance to run my car at WCRC tonight and wow what an amazing car. It felt awesome. I only got to run three packs through it and right out of the box it wasn't bad, made a minor adjustment by raising the inner camber link with a 2mm shim and BOOM hooked. I would like to know what the fast lap times in stock are on the current track but I am pretty sure I was not far off.
Making me question a lot whether I want a B44.2 or a ZX5 FS2 now more. My hats off to Kyosho on this car.

What gearing and tires did you use?

For a bit more consistent steering I would suggest a set of Jconcepts bar codes up front with open cell foams cut. Good to know you had good results with Suburbs up front. Mine just pushed like crazy with those tires. But going through my car this evening, I noticed a bunch of small problems with the setup.

Dont use AE spurs.. use Kimbroughs. More true/round, and a fraction as loud.

this will be the next thing i try. AE guys seem to swear by 2 hole pistons. worth a shot. I really liked the losi 55s in my rb5. Trackside rarely has LHR sized jumps but with that being said, we always seem to have some flat lander with an immediate 180 or something else requiring your vehicle to be set and ready. thanks for the info.
With our much larger diameter pistons, a 2 hole, anywhere near a 55 size hole, would require like 12 or 15 weight oil. That would generate a LOT of pack. If that's what you're looking for, go for it. Personally, if looking for that much pack, I would rather run a 4 hole with 56s or 57s.

you can't compare our shocks directly to the AE shocks... They were a LOT smaller in overall diameter, so a fewer number of holes are required to get the same damping.
