Sound like a cool tuning option. So Non-vented in the front shocks and Vented in the rear could be a great combo..

Thank you sir.

Also, I have some Hobby bucks at amain When will the New TKR5042B – Spindle Carriers (15 degrees caster)

Make it to Them?

Not sure if they've ordered them yet. But probably in the next week or two.

There will be a Tekno section to post your setups in a few days. Those who are asked for their setup multiple times can just post there and maybe Tekno can link to it on the first page.

From Petit RC...

Thanks for all the documents.
Please give me some days to proceed.

Would be nice to have an aluminum cap that you could run emulsion. The only reason I have the plastic caps still is because of that.

Will you ever have an aluminium cap for emulsion? Like the scte caps.

^ there's a thought... it would be blasphemy but I wonder if the eye in the Losi buggies cap is the same as Tekno's and threading is the same. Could just buy some of those... or X-Ray or whoever's match up and have emulsion hole & threads.
I suppose you could drill & tap the top of these caps since their flat. That would be easier than on a domed cap.

I know emulsion is not common for an outdoor setting but its a nice tuning option to have for a nice smooth indoor track.

Edit: I googled 1/8 buggy shock cap emulsion and just about the only thing that came up was... Tekno shock caps
Looks like I may have to pick up a set of Tekno caps and hit up my neighbors drill press

I can't speak for everyone but I don't feel comfortable with drilling a tapping my caps. I also don't have the tools to do it. I would like to see that option for sale.

Not sure if we'll ever do aluminum emulsion caps. It's a possibility but very low priority at this point. The plastic caps are good for emulsion.

What do you guys get out of the Al caps vs. the plastic? I've been pretty happy with the plastic caps on the SCT. Never had any leaks or anything.

Yeah, no leaks here. I have caught a cross thread about 1/4 turn into it and like Oh! Oh! Oh!... and started it again. Haven't popped a cap off in a wreck but it can happen.

Mainly preventative measures for me... and not a chance of a cross thread.

Grabbing a set of caps next time at the track and using my buddies drill press to give it a go

Aluminum is ultimately more durable. I broke a plastic cap in an epic crash one time (I hit a pole at full speed about 10 feet in the air). Other than that, they will always seal better than the aluminum just due to the material properties. If you're not epic crashing all the time either one should last for a very long time.

probably one minor thing I noticed is that the plastic caps if you are not used to assembling them on the shocks can cross thread.

Tekno's up on Petit RC for those that are commonly asked for their setup... and those that just want to share.
Is there a different setup sheet for EB, NB & SCT? Only found one for SCT but it looked universal so that's what I provided.

What happens when you put the rear link at 5C instead of 2B?
