Yeah it's pretty crazy that there are no bodies anywhere. Not even the pre painted RTR bodies. Does anyone know for sure that Durango is actually going to make more of them? TowerHobbies is saying pee order, and allowing orders to be taken, but that's not necessarily a guarantee that they'll get them. I've got two painted bodies that are serviceable but I'd like to eventually paint some clear ones myself. I'd rather not use a modified aftermarket body if Durango bodies are for sure in the pipeline. Has anyone heard anything directly from Durango?

Find An RT6 MM body. Believe the Jconcepts one fits well. I used the proline bull dog fit well but I have the diggity design 4 mm lower shock tower. It's cut different than the stock. Raising the front body post is easy to do. Drill new holes in tower. I used the front DESC body post, put O ring over post and trimmed post down. Works great.

That's likely what I'll have to do if they don't ever come. It's a shame though, the DEST has a very distinctive body that screams DEST210R. That Jcon body is as common as mosquito's on a Georgia summer night. Surprised the aftermarket hasn't picked up on this. Team Blue Groove in Canada makes retro bodies for cars as uncommon as the Tamiya Celica GR.b and Avante 2001. There is surely a higher demand for a modern race truck by a fairly major manufacturer. I'll bet they would sell hundreds of them overnight if they became available.

I doubt it. They have a hard enough time making bodies for vehicles like the DEX210 and its not discontinued. As far as Tower goes, its been up for pre-order for about a year.

It felt good, best ever in fact, but was about two seconds off the pace of the T5M runners but I do have a lot of play in the servo so need a new servo before I race again. Hopefully It will be a bit better then.

Not sure an astro turf set up will be of much use to the people on here but here goes anyway

This set up was with a full size lipo running down the middle so will likely be a lot different if and when I get shorties

Hello DEST!!!
R any of you using the rear hanger with LRC (-2mm). How is it working?

I have heard it makes these cars/trucks drive better but I haven't tried it in my ST or SC yet??

Thanks

Great post from Dino on the HRC vs LRC:

I may try the LRC on my SC when I get it ready for indoor.
