Shoot me a PM and I'll send pics of my Z01Be conversion. Really cheap...total of about $25 total for mount and battery tray. Not as nice as if you spent more, but effective and it works. I did a similar conversion to my Kyosho and have beat the Kyosho at the track for a while now.

Check out the Vorza parts. They can be had for cheap, even new. You might have to drill and tap some holes in the chassis. You can get taps from Ace Hardware. I used a bunch of Vorza stuff on my D8T conversion and it turned out really nice.

As for motor mounts, I wouldn't recommend the Vorza mount. Maybe a VE8 mount or find a RC Monster mount used for cheap. The EliteRC mount is really nice, but pricey if you are doing this conversion on a tight budget.

The LOSI battery tray works great. That is what I use in my electric D8T (same mounting points as a D8). Basically, all you buy is the Losi Battery tray that comes stock in the Losi Eight-E and it bolts directly to the HB chassis. You have to bore out 2 of the mounting holes but it takes 5 minutes. Best part is, the Losi tray is only $10.75 on amainhobbies whereas the RC monster tray is like 75 bucks or something insane. Part number LOSI4461

Oh and Famous, you also need the Losi battery tray straps. I was the one with the Flaming D8T at ARC. So if you have any Q's PM me.

I noticed that they have a slipperential kit like the RC monster one and it appears to be an exact copy except that it is aluminum and anodized blue. Anyone have any experience with these? are the parts interchangeble with the RC monster one? Price is really reasonable compared to the RCM ones.

Stock spur is 48T, so I'd start with a 15T or 16T and adjust from there. Those will gear you for around 40mph top speed.

I bought this tray for my D8 Hara. It does not fit, looks like i need to cut the ESC mounting square as it hangs over the rear suspension arm. (its too long)
