I use the proline B5 rims for the rear with the exotek hexes. If you use AKA the dish is flat but the axle and wheel nut is exposed. If you choose proline, the dish is coned, and concave to protect the axle and wheel nut. The AKA looks pretty but the proline is more practical. Your choice.

Not sure about the 2wd front yet, as the new car isn't out yet, but the 4wd buggy I use the 22-4 front rims on the 4wd.

Alright guys, I have a chance to get two dex210v2s with a variety of NIB spares for about $240, thoughts? Vehicles look to be in good condition, and may keep one to make a specific "mod" car or outdoor car, and other other a indoor car.

I say buy them! You figure your getting them for about $120 each its a really good deal. Even if you ran just one car and broke the other one down for parts your coming out way ahead of what it would cost to get all those spare parts on their own.

yeah, I was looking at the alloy rear hingepin block since my car doesn't have it, and for the money seems these could be a way to go.

I'll probably keep both these and sell my hybrid dex210 on the cheap.

Could also be more on spec with the latest shocks, etc.

New ride shows up today. No hurry to get it together as I'm not sure on what setup I will to go with anyways. Need to order some shock pistons as well.

Did you order the V3? I'm no Dino, but if I can help with set up high grip clay or carpet just let me know.

I ran my V3 for the first time last night, and even though they didn't change much with the car I can tell you there is a difference in the way a fresh car feels. I ran the axles with the 65mm drivelines, went down to 35wt oil in the fronts from 37.5wt, and up one spring rate in the rear and the car was money! It rotated well in the corners, jumped great, and carried better corner speed then it did with my last carpet setup. All in all, I'm just spouting off at how great this car is! Even though its not the 210F this things is still a monster on the carpet and holds its own against the XB2, YZ2, KF2, and other carpet driven front motor cars!

Yeah this new car is really good! Im running Travis setup from the Midwest champs minus the kyosho springs. I'm using a associated blue up front and green in the rear and the car is good. I tried Durango springs that are the same rate or very close to what the kyosho pink and gold were but the car was real unsettled so I went back to the ae springs till the kyoshos get here. I'm using associated offset wheels front and back with the exotek titanium front axles. Also running the 65mm axles, haven't tried other settings yet. What have you guys found that the shorter axle settings have done for you?

Also does anyone have an opinion or tested the v2 body over the v3? Personally I like the looks of the v2 body better. My v3 body got cracked up pretty good and I haven't seen them in stock anywhere so looking for an alternative.

Thanks. Yeah I have a new V3 coming in today at Bumps and Jumps. I help the owner out a few days a week so with the new changes from the V1 to the V3 I thought I would give the new one a chance. It is a medium to high bite clay but since its pretty cold now I would say its medium traction right now. Not sure if I will setup the car in 3 gear MM for stock or 3 04 4 gear MM for mod. I see with most other brands everyone is going back to 3 gear MM for both stock or mod so will see.

yeah debating what to do for tranny gear setup as well, think I'll do the 3 gear and see, previous was 4 gear. it worked well enough in stock previously though but worth trying something different.

Depending what I hear back hopefully today, still debating maybe just getting a V3 to splurge on myself lol.

My big thing is that I prefer white wheels, and I got TONs of mounted tire sets and durango specific wheels here that came when I bought this package. And even funnier, most of them are indoor tire types with modeled foams, stuff I wouldn't use here lol.

Have you found the v2 in stock anywhere? Last time I checked, Tower was out.

So I was looking through the Dex210F manual and thought it wouldn't be that hard to make the v2/v3 MM/RM Gearbox bolt to the 210F chassis and side pods. the front end is the same as a 210.

Why didn't durango just release the v3 this way ? it would of give the car a sideways shorty option? Like the b5m, 22 3.0. yz2 Rb6 etc etc
Seems like a missed opportunity for probably not alot of work.

Just doesnt seem to difficult thats all.

Part numbers are
210F chassis td320357
Sidepods TD320402
