You have to drill 2 mounting holes but that took all of 5mins. Has worked great for me.

You can drill mount holes on current gear box further in from the current ones and it eliminates the break (just have to dremel a little off the out casing by the idler gears).. I actually snapped a ti stud and cant get it out so thinkin of ordering something like above because if the stud breaks you can easily remove it.

It puts it very close to the stock position on the trans. Just a bit more fwd and up. I did it just to try it and I was very happy with the placement when I did it and my car performs very well like this.

As with any of these plates like the tresrey one, you must put a screw all the way thru the mount and nut the bottom. Otherwise the plate will move around and change the camber if u land wrong off a jump. With it nutted on the bottom mine has never moved. I think it's a great alternative to the tresrey one if you don't mind drilling holes. I honestly forgot how I found he hole placement but I remember it being very easy. Make sure you mount it as far back as it will go. If its touching the back surface a bit it will help keep it straight.

I don't recommend that. A few guys at my track tried a Delrin one before the tresrey was available and they didn't last a day.

well my racing night is done .
and i can say it calms and smooth the car a lot
driving or jumping is night and day versus the stock chassis!!
i c'ant wait to get more practice time with the car

The Tresrey is much more durable. Have yet to break a Tresrey. Broke 7 of the others. Yes, 7. And I'm not the worst driver in the world.

I remember thinking to myself...JR is one patient guy. That car used to break if you looked at it wrong. Mine did too. A few key parts on them and mine never broke. I haven't sen you break much either.

What kinda tracks are you guys running on? I have had zero breakage problems..I'm on month #7 on my diff and that's racing 1 to 2 times a week.. And it's still butter smooth.. B-Fast diffs are great!

Our track is a very large very high bite (most of the time) clay that you usually run slicks. That along with high speed straights and high speed jumps. It's very easy to break if you get it wrong. I rarely break anything during a race tho. It's usually in practice with 15 sct's out there. The high traction really wears out and breaks parts. I race at a couple other smaller tracks with less traction and rarely break a part ever.

I cant believe more guys aren't breaking c hubs, almost every time i go out i break a chub. I'm a pretty good driver, mostly just tap a pipe a little and it breaks.. I'm down to my last set, so after that the buggy sits till they come off back order..
