Why is there such a difference in price on these two vehicles on Amain Hobbies?

Default Servo or No Servo

If you read the specs on RC10.com it also says you need a 2 channel readio, but it does not say you need a servo. It does not mention a servo in the list of included anyone order one of these yet?

The RC8e that is $500.00 is the limited edition. It has hard anodized threaded big bore shocks, carbon fiber shock towers, titanium turnbuckles, also comes with 15t, 16t pinion and 44, 46, 50t steel spurs. There is also the RC8e, which is the standard version, but it is on order. Stormer has it listed at $350.00, but it has composite big bore shocks, steel turnbuckles, 15t pinion, 46t composite spur. The RC8Te is the same as the newer RC8e. Basically they are like team editions, instead of factory team.
