B44 gearing????????
Can anyone suggest a pinion gear for my b44 i'm using 18/84 right now with a novak ss5800 brushless and 4800 lipo it seams to be geared pretty low already but the esc is still getting hot. also what is the equivilent to 5800kv = 6.5, 8.5, 10, ?? is there a conversion chart anywhere?? Thanks

If you are running a 84/18 that is a final gear ratio of 11.66. Novak recomends a final gear ratio in a 4wd car around 9. that would mean you would have to run a 23,24,25 tooth pinion.
84/25 x2.5=8.4
84/24 x2.5=8.75
84/23 x2.5=9.13
I would think these should get you close to Novaks recomendations but still continue to check temps! A Novak ss5800 is a 8.5 turn brushless. I run a 6.5 Novak Velociti in my b44.
