Losi vs Proline inserts
Hi
I have used the Grey Proline inserts (ultra firm) for a while, but have seen Losi also produce a firm inserts, is the Losi like the Proline or is it softer or harder?
Is there other brands that produce a ultra firm insert for 1/10 off-road

I completely agree.
Losi inserts - feel dead when they're new... however the truck inserts work good as buggy inserts. ProLine inserts fall apart after a couple runs. Trinity inserts are some of the best, except for the ultra firms which might as well be rubber since they're so hard.
My favorite inserts are JConcepts, Racer Edge, and then Trinity.

I have same problem with the grey ultra firm Proline insert, they are getting flatter after some runs, and often can not being used in at new set of tires. I have not same problem with the white firm Proline inserts !!
I most see where I can find these inserts in Europe..
Scott54, you said the Trinity ultra firm is like solid rubber, are they so firm?

I don't think the Losi yellows aren't too bad when they are brand new, but after 4-5 packs they start to really degrade.
I have had some Proline (standard) inserts that were misshapen and 100% pure garbage even when new.
Bomb 1s--last a long time and not too crazy stiff. Perfect. They recently changed them to a white color and they are clearly softer than the greys.

I use them exclusively for rubber tires that I run on a dirt oval (foams don't work on this track). And actually, I feel that I could even use something firmer. The rubber tires still start to expand at the end of out 100 ft straightaways running 8 singles in a Sprint Car.

You know, I've used Trinity Ultra Firms before and they were fine. Maybe they changed them or the ones my LHS have are just a bad batch, but they really are ridiculously stiff.. I mean if you pinched them, you wouldn't be able to get your finger and thumb closer than an inch together. I really think that these are a fluke...
