T4/b4 servo saver issues
Any one else had probles with the servo saver stripping on the T4.
The threaded portion does not seem to have enough material to hold the threaded nut in for more than a few runs. Any ideas on a fix/hop up, that will work?

How hard are you cranking on the thing to tighten it down? You should just snug it up and it should be fine

Look at the threads closely, if they look a little flat, it's gone. Get the blue nut #9610B, it's stronger and it won't strip.

The threads on the servo saver bolt are pretty soft. I would suggest replacing both the plastic and the bolt. Also, the factory team blue bolt works a little better, as the threads are anodized.
As OTE said, make sure you only tighten down the bolt until it is snug. You cannot compress the spring completely, as the bolt will not thread down that far. Once you go too far, you need to replace both bolt and plastic. It will not hold well once the threads strip even slightly.

That's the one thing that still drives nut's no pun intended about Team Associated cars are those Dam plastic nut's.

Thanks for the input.
I will get another new one (whenever they are back in stock) and assemble it with a new blue nut.
I did glue the second one I stripped together to finish the day and had no problems, but I am hesitant to leave it like that since I can't seem to keep my truck off the boards.

I threw the whole assembly out and replaced it with an aluminum assembly that has no servo saver like this:

I then put a small Kimbrough servo saver right on the servo:

I've used this setup for 2 years now with no problems at all.
