im going to run the RC PRO here in kansas we were told that electrics only have to pit once in the 30 min main
when i ran gas truck we could get 10 min on a legal tank........some got even longer....like tebo was close to 12.5..........is it right to make the electrics pit every 7min???

It will be my first time running a 1/10 modified truck at Linton Sunday April 6th.
Not legal in RC Pro Series or ECNS or even ROAR! 2wd 1/10th trucks only.

1 of the gas trucks tried to go 10 minutes on a fill up to keep up with us and he ran out. That killed his chances flaming out on such a big track having to lose so much time going back to pit road to re-start off of pit road.

My gas truck could go 10 minutes with the stuffer out of the tank, but that would not be legal capacity of the tank.

We were the only 2 electrics in the race with the rest of the main gas trucks. Only 2 Losi trucks in the race with most of the field Associated.

Smoother on the bottom with plenty of top end. Didn't even use any negative throttle expo at that big track with a loamy surface.

I would expect that the trucks could keep up much better if they were on a smaller track where they could be tuned to run for 15+ minutes & not give up anything on the top end. I'm guessing that nitros were faster in qualifying since the event took place on a large 1/8th scale track.

I converted my RS4MT to 2wd with NOVAK 7.5 POWER
PRETTY COOL....wonder how that rear belt will hold up.

I ordered spares since they are availible still.

The truck came out in 1999.

They were alot faster down the long straights. I had to make sure I did not wreck. I made one mistake and all most lost a 12 second lead. I wreck twice the whole thirty minutes that was what made the diffenece.

If it is 2wd then it must follow these rules for the RC Pro Series:

1/10 2WD OFF-ROAD TRUCK SPECS

All trucks must be 2wd.

Minimum track width - continuous 10 feet

Maximum truck length - 18"

Maximum truck width - 13"

Truck wheel base - Minimum - 9" Maximum - 11.5"

Minimum Truck weight - 2WD - 60 ounces = 3lbs. 12oz.

Truck wheel diameter - Minimum-mounting bead - 2.175" Maximum mounting bead 2.25" Maximum overall - 2.46"

Wheel mounting - Must be securely mounted at all times.

Maximum Truck wheel width - 2"

Truck tire width - Minimum - 2" Maximum - 2.125"

Minimum Truck tire diameter - 3.6"

Wheel cut out - Use body cut lines

Engine - .12 . This year a .15 RTR or 4 stroke .26 is legal. This is an effort to help grow this class due to the drop in interest in 1/10 Trucks.
Motor - Brushed or Brushless - Mod or stock.
Electric Trucks conforming to the rules of this class will be allowed to participate. That means they must meet the minimum weight. Electric trucks must make pit stops during mains. The appropriate number to be determined at each event which will be equal to the number of stops for the largest majority of nitro powered truck. This addition is to help increase interest in the truck class.

Fuel - Nitro mixtures only. Maximum allowed 75 mililitres/cc for the tank, filter(s) and fuel line from tank to carb.
Power - NIMH, NICD, Lipo maximum voltage of 7.4v

Transmission - 1 speed only - viscous or slipper drivers are allowed

Rear suspension – Independent

Main events - 5 to 60 Minutes

Bodies - Off-road Truck

Tires - Rubber only

All vehicles must meet the 85db rule for noise.
62: Exhaust pipes are also required on every car. The maximum sound level is 85 decibels, measured at a ninety degree angle to the side of the car from a distance of 30 feet, 3 feet above the ground, with the car at maximum throttle and at all speeds

They have said I can run a 4wd stadium truck in 2wd form.

I'm going to a trophy race in Linton not all the way out here craps.

It should be within specs. I'll have Jarman take a look at it to be sure.

I'm running my B44 with a 2wd RS4MT HPI.

Gonna be sweet to run 2 classes back to back, this will be my first time doing that.

If it is in 2wd form then it should be legal.

I never realized how similar the e-firestorms rear end was to the t-4s rear end untill I looked at those pics. I knew that the front end was very similar. You guys may want to look at the e-firestorms trans & see if it will fit on a t-4.
