Hard to Start ?
I own a 1/8th Scale Mugen Seiki with a .21 Navarossi Engine, the first day i got it i couldnt even get the engine to turn over, when i took it into my local Hobby Shop they had to take the head off just to turn the Engine over, they said that the engine will be tight for the first few runs ..........
well i have run a litre of 15% Nitro Fuel now and the engine is still as hard to turn over as the day i got it ! .......... i know that this is a good thing but its so damm anoying when i cart all my stuff to the track or down the road from where i live only to find out that the engine just keeps locking up from compression and then i need to free it up using a flat head screw driver on the flywheel, my electric starter wheel is wearing so quickly because of this starting problem as well.
Is there a way that i can make the engine easier to Turn over & Start ?

By losening the glo-plug you will reduce compression. Don't take it all the way out, something like 2 turns will be fine. It should still start like this, and when you've got the engine running tighten the plug back up again.

15% nitro does not generate enough heat to properly break-in a .21 engine. A Nova Rossi .21 should be able to handle 30% nitro. Keep an eye on your temps, If it overheats, change to a cold plug. A big Block .21 engine is a high compression engine and requires extra nitro to drive the piston.

Maybe the problem is!!!!
I you canīt get the engine on, may be the problem is the Mixture control valve, In some altitudes you need to open a little bit this valve!!!!! Check this!!! Once we have to do this because we were at more less 8202 ft altitude!!!!!

More lube (30%) as opposed to (15%) will lean out the air/fuel mixture as well, causing temp to rise.
