Default Futaba 4PK Super worth to upgrade to 7PX?

I have a Futaba 4PK Super and was thinking of upgrading to the 7PX and was wondering would I feel a performance difference in the radio? I know it's faster but could the average guy benefit from it? Thanks

Yes by far. With all the newer style firmware updates, the Super Response, yeah well worth it.

I love my 7px, and see no need to replace it anytime soon. I really like it because I use all 7 channels for my crawler, steering, throttle, 2 speed tranny, front locker, rear locker, lights, winch... all my other rigs i only use the 2 channels, but the touchscreen menu is awesome and so easy, plus i use the lap timer hooked to the button above my throttle hand thumb when I'm practicing with no timing system. The only thing I was worried about was battery life, but I ordered it along with the Protek LiFe battery and I can go practice 3 or 4 days at the track, several hours each day on a single charge. Plus that battery seems to get better and better as it cycles. Only thing I ordered that I wish it came with is the steering wheel angle adapter, and I also got the protek aluminum case, which also for $700 I think it would be nice if it came with something to carry it with. My last high end radio was the 3pks and this is lightyears ahead of that one...

If you have to ask, probably not.
It's not going to make you a faster driver, it's not going to stop you from crashing.
