also i want you all to know that i will be running the advanced speedo next week in testing and racing. i am not doing this to gain an advantage, but to test for snowbirds as that is what i will be running there. if for some reason you feel that you are at a disadvantage, well......you are. but you have all seen me drive and i am pretty sure that i will not be a factor anyways. add to that that my car has never seen the track before, and i think you will understand my need to get as much wheel time as i can before heading off to the birds. i am confident that all of your many combined years of experience will far exceed any gains i will achieve by running the speedo. i will be running 10.5 single cell and will run in whatever class you guys feel i should run in. i am sorry if this creates hard feelings for you guys, and i understand if it does, but between this being my 4th ever oval race, and wanting to get as much prep in for florida, i hope you can understand and bear with me for a few days. after this week, i will be running on my old stuff, so please do not feel that this is going to be an every race thing.

thanks for your understanding

Larry, Chris & myself are meeting for breakfast at 8:30 and then over to the track to set up the oval. I'll be there all day practicing. Not sure for Thursday, but back down around noon on the 1st for racing.

I'm also going to be playing with speedo's for Snowbirds and will have a MMP in one of the cars and maybe new software from Tekin to play with as well.

This should be a great week for oval racing.

Remember practice fee for all but key holders.

Mark

I will only be there on the 1st for practice. Will be bringing my 13.5 COT and 17.5 sportsman truck for Birds practice. If anyone wants to try a sportsman truck I will have a spare, just needs a driver with a DX3R TX. Also have spare motors and batteries if anyone wants to run 17.5 1C or 13.5 1C.

RRR - Since the track is going to be up, I was not going to be down until around noon. But others may have the building opened earlier. I'll ask around and see who would be over early.

yes, will be racing on the 1st as well. Good news is the omaha setup seemed to transfer back to e-team. So hopefuly it will work at Corrc as well.

Thanks for the quick response, I checked the flyer yesterday? I'm sure 10:00ish is probably as early as I could get there. And I assume the racing starts in the early afternoon. Looking forward to some OVAL Action

If there's 4 people to run it will be a class. Round up your buddy's and have them come out or bring there late models.
