Don, On the Edmonton forums we were discussing lending out our personal transponder system out to you guys, i heard that you didnt want to take it because it doesnt work with your starting gate.......

in my oppinion, and im sure many other people have the same one, id much rather have the Personals then your starting gate, half the time from what i remember it didnt even work and you had to set it off manualy........

just my oppion as I'd like to have personal transponders at the race, the race always runs much smoother and faster with them. and you dont have to worry about waiting for someone to bring back the transponder and delaying the race... or forgetting the transponder in your car and delaying someone elses race....

Hey Don,

Were you planning on any kind of backup in case of weather problems? The forecast looks pretty moist for the weekend. Just wondering. Thanks.

JD:

Thanks for the noble idea of lending your AMB system. We (club) talked about it and have decided to use our system instead including the starting gate (which has been revamped by Brett). Thats the way it will be for our race. Its working great and I'm sure it will continue to work great.

Gary:

If a backup is needed we will make that decision on Thursday, but as of now the track is holding up really well. Weather looks like chances of the odd shower maybe here and there over the weekend. I'm not worried about it and won't till Thursday.

Gary F. I forgot to order that miserable front chassis brace for my X5. Any chance you can bring that one I borrowed in RD along. I will not be able to run 1/8 otherwise.

Thanks

Rob

You should run an Xray...LOL...There should be a few guys around here bringing up Mugen parts. If you get stuck let me know asap and I'll try to pick one up locally. I'm leaving thurs am so let me wed afternoon at the latest.

BTW are you talking about the graphite, or the alum piece that attaches to the chasis? Part no. would help.

See ya Fri...

Its the brace that runs between the front upper graphite chassis plate and the lower chassis. Basically its a stiffener. Mine looks like a huge turnbuckle with plastic ballends. The plastic piece is what broke. The one I borrowed from Gary is the Aluminum upgrade. Either would be great. I will try to get you part# tommorrow.
