As a new entry to the touring car class, I have to say these cars are illegal amounts of fun! They are just so buttery smooth and fast, it's addicting. Can't wait to run it again this Saturday and get some serious tuning and practice in.

I'd definitely like to see a spec and mod class for Touring car. Then there would be some serious competition!

The new space we have is damn nice too.

The difference between spec and mod on our track is nothing. Out of the top 3 guys 2 run spec and 1 runs mod, the lap times were nearly identical. The biggest thing is practice and running smooth consistent laps. My average lap was around 13.3 seconds, I just installed a 17.5 turn sensored brushless system. This won't gain me a ton of speed but it will gain a very smooth power curve. Find a guy that is faster then you at practice and just try following his lines.

We are going to get some magazine coverage this weekend. The Grande Prairie Smart Guide will be taking photos and writing an article based on Sunday's race. Bring out all your cars for the photo shoot!

Our VP, Derek, has been hard at work. Blackman's Meats is sponsoring the concession with hot dogs! OMG Cupcakes has also made a donation of a dozen tasty treats. Looking forward to some good racing this weekend.

I've been enjoying the tighter, more technical tracks that we've had lately. Makes for fun times with a corner-hungry M05

Hey guys, what is the race schedule going to be like near Christmas? I was thinking of doing a race when I come up to visit family in December. Your running regular 28, 32s and such in touring car I take it?

Great to hear your season is starting off strong!

I'm going to have to try and combine a work trip with one of your races sometime this winter!

Hey Josh, we'd love to have ya race with us! Please see GPMRA.com for more info!

Brad, we will be racing December 7th & 14th for sure. The 21st and 28th are still not 100%, but likely. We will just have to gauge interest a little closer to Christmas, but I'd imagine most folks will have a hankering to run new R/Cs right after Santa delivers them

Like Circaicon said the 21st would be up in the air but I for one would be up for at least running open practice on those dates. We have a ton of fun and we have a cool prize setup at the end of each day. If you place 1,2,3 in any class then you will get a pop, chocolate bar, or bag of chips.

Are you guys having any big races this summer, or regular races.

Hi Larry, it's Jason. I am talking this over with one of the guys from the board who are running it this year whom I work with. They are having a meeting soon and this is one of the topics they should be discussing on. We also need to find out what other large races are going on and what dates they are being held on. Will let you know though for sure.
