I normally like city beams, but the I-Beams wear faster in the rear. Last week I had our tracks fastest lap (I think) with soft city blocks worn to the second stage, but we had great traction last week. I think Wayne likes caliburs on his buggy. New tires last week would cause traction rolling,we'll see how it is tomorrow.

I have been keeping with the tried and true, I have been using Bowtie, crimes and holeshots all with good success.

Last Saturday there was so much traction it was like driving on asphalt! Had to change from LPR to 38 series Bowties and reduce brakes. Tons of traction rolls and a couple of front flips. The changes cured some of that just couldn't fix the driver!

Concerning tires at our track I find city blocks way to agressive and with all the traction we have this year, the truggy guys are running worn down tires for the most part, to keep the truggies driveable.

I have been running M2 Calibers on my truggy and although they don't have as much steering as city blocks for example, it is like driving an onroad car with foam tires on carpet (Wayne and Way both tried my truggy and will mirror this).

Concerning buggy I would again stick with M2 calibers, maybe M3 depending on how the track is doing. I would say you are safe to bring one brand and make of tire to this race (although I would like to try those revolvers I have kicking around for truggy!).

You know that box of half used up tires you have but dont want to through away just yet? Well here is an excellent opportunity to finish them off, and through away because they will be bald.

Well, I won't be able to make it. So, two there's ultra last minute spots opened up.

Why is there cap on entries for 2 day events anyway? I'm not sure if the Calgary race was full to capacity, but if it was I don't see why we couldn't have more people entering, since we finished qualifying at around 4pm on saturday. Tons of extra time.
