Mail came today, no transponders. I gave up hope I'll ever see them so I'll just wait to get paid back from PayPal.

Unfortunately he had a great Christmas at all of our expense.

I'd definitely keep my eyes peeled for that phone number because I wouldn't be shocked if he's back under another username.

Hmm, I was taking a look and expecting to see this guy with zero feedback, but he's got 6 positive.

So, either the scammers are getting smarter and doing a few little deals to establish legitimacy, OR, this guy was despirate for Christmas money & is fine with having a debt with PP, OR, he really is just that crappy of a seller.

I'm sorry Racer/Capt. & DRTMI, all of your hands are full. I really wonder how many of these scammers would fall off the map if RCT made a subscription mandatory in order to participate in the forsale section. Most scammers (if not all) don't want to pony up a single penny in their scams.

IMO a subscription here for a full year is less than the cost of Ebay fees for a single sale on an RC vehicle. Totally worth it if you want to sell here. People are using RCT as a free Ebay; and it's a perfect place to commit mail fraud. I'd pay $$ for a subscription to rid of these terrible sellers, but that's me.

Nah, then the scammers would just pay the subscription fee with paypal funds they scammed from someone else. Lots of people thought forcing sellers to post pics in their for sale ad would help, but here we are with multiple buyers most likely getting scammed while pictures are in the ad. There's no way to prevent criminals from surfacing. They are persistant. But that's why we use Paypal instead of mailing cash or money orders.

I bought a Losi 8ight 3.0E of this guy that said it had 10 runs and thru texting he said all the electronics where like new. I paid got buggy 2 weeks later esc was in 2pieces, wires soldered on servo and was shorting out and the buggy had to have a season of running on it. I'm pretty sure I didn't even get the buggy that was in the pictures but that ok cause I know karma will be back around. Also very rude fellow I would like to show him some southern hospitality 😚
