Hey, that's usually my job when I'm not working sundays!
8 in vintage, well, seven now, bits of my Astute came loose and since I have already had a Justock fall in half inside my RC10 I counted my losses. Our visitor from the north is enjoying himself, which is good.
New track is awesome, even for little 540 powered 2WD's.

Great days racing. Great to meet all the names that have faces on here or vice versa. Enjoyed myself more so with these old cars than what I usually do with the modern cars.
Loved the drag race with Rob and Jimbo on the straight in each race, we kept the pressure on each other every lap, and had clean racing lines in pretty much every close bit of racing.
RC10 felt perfect every race - although had to replace a servo saver after the 2nd final, as it was not seated properly on the servo spline. Thanks all for the terrific day and mother nature for supplying the clear skies!
Looking forward to the next Vintage meet!
Cheers

Hey Clint, it was a good vintage day.....for those of us that didn't poo our pants.
Jason (J.M.) took a few photos so keep an eye out for them. Ed also took pics and vids, so I'd imagine they will be online soon as well.
Sounds like it's all going to happen again in 2 weeks time, so keep an eye on the thread. Hopefully we will see you next time.
Cheers mate

I hope to get one more race in and hopefully won't abuse my pre old optima mid like I did today. .. she needs some TLC!

Cheers!
Whilst the kids watch alvin and the chipmunks and the wife drinks her shiraz I've done a few small revisions to the car with the very limited tools I have in our hotel room!
