Oh yes, you drove the blue mini rite.....

Yeh we wanted to have a chat to you, but you were in a rush, and we didn't get a chance to come around and say hi again...

I'll pm , with questions later on...

Thanks for the help, I found alot of people at the track was very kind and helpful with hints and tips..

It was my first time out there, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and so forth.

cheers

TJ, I liked the track. A much tighter track to what we are used to but I can see no reason to change it. Why not run it for a few weeks for the point score.

All @ Castle Hill Raceway. A big thank you to Trevor and wife for letting me join the TCS last week and for patiently answering my queries before the TCS . It was my first time to race @ Castlehill and my second official race ( first @ Windsor). Though I was only 10th overall at the Minis , I enjoyed the whole TCS . Drivers are very friendly and helpful. A well organised event Trevor . I will soon join the Friday meets .
Thanks to CastleHill hobbies staff as well.

Cheers.

Hi. in your 540 class you have.....

7. 540 Stock Motors:

Either an unopened JOHNSON 540 (grey end bell) motor or an unopened Tamiya standard kit motor is classed as 540 Stock

can i ask what is the part number for the JOHNSON 540 (grey end bell) motor

I figure the Tamiya standard kit motor is 53689

which one does people (.ie the fast people ) normally use

that one is good and cheap. you can not tell a 540 motor whether its good or not, its not like mod motors. its luck of the draw.

If you are asking which out of the grey or black endbell is better. I would say the black endbell is better (tamiya motor). When we went back and raced in 540 with Adam murfy and David we all used the Black endbell tamiya motors, and they were very fast, Linda has heard from people that they are faster than the grey one, whether in torque or RPM. I'd say both, and they are geared very high.
